Ema joined Health Tech Enterprise in 2022 in the Health Economics team and her responsibilities include developing health economic models, and costing tools as well as writing health economic evaluation reports to inform decisions of the efficient allocation of health care resources. Ema also leads on carbon impact assessment activities including the HealthTech NETZERO service.
Prior to joining HTE, she contributed to the OECD Strategic Public Health Planning COVID-19 model by analysing multi-country economic responsiveness to teleworking practices.
Ema holds an MSc in International Health Policy (Health Economics) from the LSE and MA in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Glasgow. She has Lithuanian origins; is fluent in English and Lithuanian, and speaks conversational German.
