Veena is an Innovation Manager at HTE, working with clinical innovators to protect, develop and commercialise their ideas. She has significant experience in technology assessments, freedom to operate searches and market research.
Prior to joining HTE, Veena worked as a Scientist in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs) for ten years with research activities mainly focused on developing anti-microbial solutions for many personal care and consumer health care products. She generated patents and was involved in finding business opportunities via open innovation projects with universities.
Veena also has experience in innovation consultancy, providing technology advisory services to a wide range of multinational clients across healthcare and consumer care sectors.
Veena holds a PhD in Biochemistry from University of Cambridge and joined HTE in 2021.
