Chris is a Senior Consultant within the HealthTech Consulting team. Chris has significant experience in assisting medical technology companies to overcome market entry barriers, with a deep understanding of the role of clinical insights, market research, human factors and regulatory pathways in creating successful market access strategies.
“A key part of my role is to help medtech companies, particularly SMEs, demystify the adoption process by overcoming some of the barriers to entry when developing new products, or penetrating new markets with their innovations. HTE’s access to a wide range of stakeholders within the NHS, and key opinion leaders from both healthcare and industry, means these companies can access independent feedback about their innovations, accelerating the product development process.”
His prior experience includes developing a prototype sensor for use by the water industry where he conducted research and explored methods to help overcome market entry barriers. He also has nearly twenty years’ commercial experience in customer facing roles, including ten years in a consultative account management role for a high tech IT company.
Chris has a BSc in Biological Sciences from Manchester Metropolitan University, an MSc in Medical Diagnostics and an Engineering Doctorate in Environmental Diagnostics from Cranfield University. Chris joined HTE in 2014.
