Anne has overall responsibility for the management and performance of Health Tech Enterprise (HTE). Her role includes setting the strategic vision for the company, providing leadership to the team, developing the business plan and agreeing budgets. Anne has been actively involved in intellectual property management and commercialisation of life sciences technologies for over 25 years.
In addition to leading the HTE team, she is also Chair of Ablatus, a women’s health company, and co-founded Medovate, a medical device development company, in 2017.

Anne joined HTE in 2005 from Cambridge Enterprise, the technology transfer office of the University of Cambridge where she focused primarily on technologies from the biological and chemical sciences and was involved in all aspects of technology commercialisation. Anne holds a PhD in chemistry from Strathclyde University.
