Dave has had a wide ranging executive career at BT in both CEO, CTO and CIO service improvement roles. Highlights include founding BT’s Wi-Fi and Mobility businesses post the demerger of O2, building a £500m IP Network Services business during the dot com boom, and engineering delivery of the BT Fusion.
Along the way he launched BT Retail broadband and voice services over the new Fibre to the premises technology, ran the consumer devices portfolio, and led the first 4G Wireless spectrum acquisition programme. He began his career with a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, has been awarded 4 patents and became a Fellow of the IET.
Over the last 3 years Dave has also been a non-Executive Director, and more recently Deputy Chairman, for Papworth Hospital Foundation Trust.
