Applications are now closed for the latest Health Tech Enterprise Innovation competition, sponsored by product design and development specialist eg technology, which rewarded the most novel ideas in MedTech innovation.
The Innovation Voucher recipient, Dr Luke Lintin of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust stated, “I am delighted to receive this award for my work, and hope that the funding received, and future collaboration with eg technology will be the perfect catalyst for the development of this project.”
Dr Lintin received his award of £3,000 of ‘in-kind’ support from sponsors eg technology to further the development of a novel solution for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence in woman at our flagship annual MedTech Futures conference on the 1st March 2023 last year.
Open to all NHS staff, the competition had a focus on novel medical technologies. Other previous winners have included Dr Ryan Seguna and Dr Jurgen Herre’s from Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust for the development of a thoracentesis device and Mr Ryan Matthew and Dr Heiko Wurdak’s Mini-brain benchtop test.
New competition dates for 2024 will be announced soon.
