A new Innovation Sprint focused on paediatric health and child health innovation will take place in Cambridge on 2nd June 2026, bringing together entrepreneurs, clinicians, advisors, and industry experts from across the healthcare sector.
The Paediatric Health Innovation Sprint will support early-stage innovators and start-ups developing technologies and solutions aimed at improving outcomes within paediatric healthcare and child health services.
Taking place at the Imperial War Museum Duxford, Cambridgeshire, the event is sponsored by NIHR HRC Paediatrics & Child Health, 8Fold, Medovate, and 42T.
Applications for the programme have now closed, and the eight successful applicants will be announced soon, alongside a panel of specialist advisors and mentors.
The event will also include a keynote presentation from Nicki Allen, Founder and CEO of Haptiv8, who will share insights from her experience within health innovation and entrepreneurship.
There will be two prizes awarded on the day for the winners – one from 42T, a product development company offering consultancy time, and another from 8fold Governance, who provide end-to-end compliance support.
The Innovation Sprint programme is designed to accelerate the development of promising healthcare innovations by providing participants with tailored commercial, clinical, and strategic support within a collaborative environment.
