Karen is an experienced IP and commercialisation professional having over 15 years’ experience of leading the development and commercialisation of innovations developed by research scientists and clinicians. She has negotiated numerous licensing agreements for a diverse range of technologies including therapeutics and devices. Her career encompasses roles within technology transfer offices, a medical research charity and most recently within the business development team of a UK based biotech.

Dr Jagvir Purewal, Partner, Forresters IP LLP

Jagvir is a UK and European patent attorney and advises clients on all aspects of obtaining patent and design protection. He enjoys working with his clients to understand their businesses and then help develop and deliver a tailored strategy that best captures value from their intellectual property.

Greg Smith, Senior Associate, Forresters IP LLP

Greg is a UK chartered and European patent attorney and is primarily involved in drafting and filing patent and design applications at the UK and European Patent Offices, as well as utilising his global network to assist clients in obtaining protection overseas.
